Theatre West presents their Spring production of The Supporting Cast, a comedy by George Furth. The play is set to run from Thursday March 1 through Saturday, March 24. The play will be presented on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The doors open at 7:30 P.M. and the curtain goes up promptly at 8:00 P.M.

The story: Ellen, the wife of a successful author, has written a book about friends who are spouses of celebrities and what it is like to be married to “Somebody Famous”. She has invited the friends to her house on the beach at Malibu to let them read advance copies and to break the news to them gently that they are depicted warts and all.

Appearing on the Jack Coyne stage are Debbie Hendrickson as Ellen, Roseanne Murphy as Sally, Cindy Wesolowski as Mae, Carenna Lukas as Florrie and Wes Ryan as Arnold.

Bonnie Ross is the director. Bonnie recently appeared in Blithe Spirit by Noel Coward and directed Skin Deep by Jon Lonoff. The crew for this production includes stage manager Shelby Barton, lights and sound technicians Levi Jess and Jenny Metcalf, special effects Danny Roberson, property mistress Ashley Ross and assistant director Linda Jackson.

Theatre West is located at 3536 SE Hwy. 101 in Lincoln City. Tickets for the show are $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors (62 and up) and for students (over 12) and $8.00 for children 12 & under. A special group discount is available at $9.00 per ticket for groups of 10 or more with a pre-paid reservation. Theatre West is a non-profit, all volunteer community dating back to 1975. Membership is open to all with dues at $10.00 per year for individuals, $5.00 for students, $12.50 for couples and $15.00 for families.
